Welcome! I’m Luke, and I’m a husband, a girl dad three times over, and a pastor with a heart for serving others through clarity, compassion, and the truth of God’s Word. I was born and raised as a missionary kid in the Costa Rican jungle, and spent my childhood among the Cabécar indigenous tribe — learning early on what it means to walk by faith, live simply, and see God in the rhythms of everyday life.
Now, years later, that same spirit of mission lives on — not in the rainforest, but through an online ministry God placed on my heart. Luke at This! is my corner of the internet to share reflections, encouragement, and Scripture-rooted truths drawn from parenting, pastoring, and all the small interruptions that turn into divine appointments.
I love a good conversation and I have deep respect for God’s Word. I write to uplift fellow fathers, men of faith, and anyone longing for steady encouragement in a noisy world. Whether it’s a playground story or a frustrating workday, my goal is to invite you to slow down, look at this, and find grace waiting in the moment.
My wife Cata is my biggest cheerleader — together we’re raising our three daughters with hope, laughter, and a whole lot of prayer.
